About Style 2

Our Story

Chef Dave grew up in Carroll County MD where MD style cuisine inspired his culinary trajectory. Over 15 years he worked in multiple fine dining restaurants dedicated to high quality steak and seafood. Although chef Dave’s MD style cuisine is already embedded, he always thinks outside the box when it comes to any dish, the motto is always ‘elevate and integrate’.

2018

Dave and Ree’s journey together began while working at the Annapolis Yacht Club.

1999
Tyree learned how to cook in his grandmother’s kitchen in North Carolina. Grandma Cheetah recognized her oldest grandchild had a knack for cooking and blending flavors, taking her traditional southern recipes and adding his own twist. Rather than being outsides playing with the other kids, Chef Ree found solace in creating new cheesecake flavors and other delicious desserts and selling them out of his cooler to local businesses, family and classmates. Craving to do more, Tyree left his small town of Wilmington to attend culinary school, honing his cooking techniques and relocating to the DMV.

2016
Dave’s cooking journey began much later in life. His love for music brought him to learn how to play various instruments and soon he began to produce and arrange music. As a starving artist, he decided to get a job in a kitchen. He soon learned that making food was the same as making music. Food could inspire emotions just as much as playing his bass guitar.

2022
After the Covid Global pandemic, the landscape of food changed amid numerous restaurants went out of business and alternatives to traditional food began to surface. Chef Dave & Chef Ree decided to seize this shift and began to promote their personal chef skills to local businesses. They have managed to build strategic partnerships within Baltimore, and you can find their desserts served at different coffee shops and popular local breweries.
